Obispo Street

Walking and living as close to Havana as possible

Obispo Street

Located in Old Havana very close to Gran Hotel Bristol, it is one of the busiest streets in the old city, where you can find various shops, as well as music bars and restaurants. In the 16th century, it was conceived as a narrow street, as it is surrounded by tall buildings of up to five floors, which allow passers-by to take shelter from the sun. Obispo Street starts from near the Plaza de Armas and extends from east to west to Avenida del Puerto, very close to the famous El Floridita Restaurant-Bar, known as “The cradle of the daiquiri”, and the Monument to Engineer Albear.
